I am a multi talented artist, performer and educator with a deep passion for the arts. My love for music and community has lead me to start the Mona Verdour Rock Choir . This high energy community choir is for people who love music but don’t want the pressure of a ‘traditional’ choir. We sing rock, pop, soul songs together learning by ear, not sheet music, in a way that’s inclusive, playful and deeply connecting, ending in a concert for our family and friends.

Think Pub Choir mixed with Live Karaoke! Its an interactive show where you get to be a part of the music! Mona will teach the group well known and loved songs by ear - no sheet music. You get to sing along in a relaxed and fun environment. She provides the live band, and the lyrics. Maybe you will even get up and sing on the mic with her live band? Perfect for Christmas parties or staff morale boosts, Mona brings everything to ensure you are full of joy at the end of this show.

Come and sing with Mona Verdour as she takes you on a musical journey through the 70s, 80s and 90s and some originals. Its a rock choir with a live drummer and instrumentation from Mona Verdour, with a performance at the end of each term. No experience necessary. We learn songs by listening and repetition.
